Reciprocating (To-and-Fro) Motion:
The machine uses a platform that moves back and forth (“strokes”) rather than circular or orbital motion, enabling uniform agitation of racks, bottles, or flasks.
Adjustable Compartments / Platform Rods:
The top tray or platform has parallel and cross bars (rods) which are slotted or adjustable so you can secure Kahn racks, flasks, or bottles of different sizes.
Variable Speed / Stroke Rate Control:
Many models provide speed control for the strokes per minute, allowing you to set the appropriate agitation rate (e.g., 150–275 strokes/min).
Robust Build & Material Construction:
The outer body is typically mild steel, powder-coated for durability.
Some platforms or inner surfaces may be stainless steel (SS 304) for corrosion resistance.
Power Supply / Motor Specification:
Many models cater to 220–230 V AC, 50 Hz (single phase) and are fitted with heavy-duty motors (e.g., 0.25 HP) capable of the required stroke motion.
Optional Timer / Digital Control:
Some machines include digital timer modules or analog timers, giving timed agitation for set experiments.
Application Versatility:
Suitable for mixing/agitation in labs for flasks, bottles, beakers, and Kahn racks — used across chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, and testing labs.
